CSF takes its clients' security very seriously. In order to keep privileged client information as secure and private as possible, we have taken the following precautions:

Secure Access
To reduce the risk of "identity theft," access to information within the “Client Access” area on CSF’s website is restricted to clients via username and password only.

Secure Communications
While downloading or printing information from the “Client Access” area all data will be encrypted.  Encryption is the process of scrambling data into an unreadable format, much like a secret code, called cipher-text. A key is needed to unscramble this text. In the “Client Access” area, all privileged client information, client forms and sensitive documents are encrypted with the best software available in the industry — Secure Sockets Layer ("SSL"). SSL creates a secure communication channel using 128-bit encryption between a client's computer and our website and encrypts all information using unique session keys, or a series of random characters, that allow us to decipher the retrieved information. This process prevents interception by a third party.

Secure Environment
To provide additional safety, CSF’s “Client Access” area does not connect directly to the Internet.  It is protected by firewalls – software and hardware products that are intended to define, control, and limit the access that outside individuals have to the “Client Access” area.  As a general rule, firewalls allow only authenticated users to receive information through the system.

Further, CSF’s “Client Access” area is registered with Thawte, an industry leader in website identification and encryption.  Via your browser, Thawte allows you to confirm this website provider’s identity before downloading any privileged information.

Automated Time Out
To help prevent unauthorized access to privileged client information, each session within the “Client Access “ area will automatically end after 10 minutes of inactivity.
